In the 1950s, Headlight's "Shop Cap" was released in various fabrics such as denim, pinstripes, hickory, and duck. This model uses 11 ounce hickory stripes. The head part is an octagonal one-piece. It is designed to be pinched at the four corners and tucked into the belt. There are two chrysanthemum holes on each side for ventilation, and the included change button can be attached. The single rough chain stitch on the back of the brim is to hold the core in place, and the construction of the time is reproduced in detail. Complete Series of the Reproduction "HEADLIGHT" A brand of Learned Carter that started in the early 1900s and existed until the 1960s. It was rare at the time, but they produced everything from weaving to sewing in-house, which shows their commitment to their products. As the label and flasher trademark indicate, they were popular and supplied to railroad workers and engineers. This rare item is still popular among collectors today, and is revived in the present day. 100% Cotton Made In Japan
